Oscillated winding: the basis for efficient further processing

In comparison with the usual production of narrow single strips, a carefully implemented oscillated winding offers economic benefits during subsequent further processing.

Through the process of welding and the oscillating winding of single strips into large bundles, e.g. ten rings of stainless steel coils each weighing 50 kg produce a single bundle with a weight of 500 kg. These large bundles are characterised by particularly long lengths and are therefore perfect for equipping partial or fully automatic machines. One key advantage is the significantly reduced set-up times so that one employee can operate several machines at the same time. The result: small investment, big savings.
